32 Degrees Genuine is looking for licensed counselors and social workers to join our compassionate and experienced mental health team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as with our current team of excellent professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in overcoming trauma, fostering resilience, and improving their overall mental well-being. We offer the flexibility to set your own schedule, working both remotely at times with the majority of your clients in the office. Additionally, if you need supervision hours, we can provide them at no cost. This position requires work in the office, fully remote candidates will not be accepted at this time. Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and groups who have experienced trauma. • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and trauma-focused therapy. • Build rapport and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment. • Educate clients and their families about trauma and its impact on mental health and functioning. • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and referrals when needed. • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay abreast of current practices in trauma therapy. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications: • Must hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. • Should possess valid New Mexico licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) or equivalent. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting is essential. • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations is a must. Preferred Qualifications: • Extensive knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and therapeutic approaches is preferred. • Certification in trauma therapy modalities such as EMDR, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, or other relevant certifications is a plus. • Experience with group therapy facilitation is desirable. • Previous work experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma recovery is an advantage. Compensation: $30 - $55 hourly
