Responsibilities: • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Passionate about providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, children, and teens. • Ability to complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for ongoing cases. • Capability to work independently while being open to learning the business and marketing side of being a therapist. • Skills to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing mental health services to clients. • Minimum requirement of 15 clients per week for part-time, and a minimum of 25 clients per week for full-time positions, both including the ability to run groups. • A good sense of humor and team player attitude. • Registered and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). • Dependable, punctual, reliable, and professional. • Minimum 1-year commitment, with the potential to continue as a licensed clinician with the Institute of Mindful Therapy. Qualifications: • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills • State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree Compensation: $30 - $49 hourly
