QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a Master's or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the fields of Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Services, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education or Criminal Justice.
Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Crisis Intervention Prevention Certification
CPR and First Aid Training Certification
Valid Driver's License
Personal Computer and Internet
RESPONSIBILITES
Provide PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) individually.
Assist the client in developing social and interpersonal skills to increase community tenure, enhance personal relationships, establish support networks, increase community awareness, and develop coping strategies and effective functioning in the individual’s social environment.
Take steps to deescalate/distressed clients.
Assist clients with effective responses to avoid and identify precursors or triggers that result in functional impairments.
Regularly participate in scheduled clinical supervision with the LMHP.
Exercise therapeutic communication skills.
Function as client advocate.
Must maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation such as: progress notes and contact logs.
