Seeking a motivated individual to provide case management and substance abuse counseling services to at risk youth (aged 8-17 years) in a Short Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) group home setting. Pre-placement interviews and intake,. Assess children's needs in terms of ADL skills and rehabilitation. Coordinate with team, parents, stakeholders and client to formulate case management plans; help clients access and utilize all appropriate services, as indicated. Maintain close relationship with school personnel. Provide strong support for the child's educational needs and intervene in the event of crises at school. Timely charting and other documentation. Other tasks as assigned. Good verbal and written communication; team player; computer skills; type 40 wpm.

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. CADC or CAADE substance abuse counselor certification. Minimum of two years experience in adolescent treatment facility preferred. CPR/First Aid for Adult, child and infant. Valid California Driver’s license insurance and clean DMV. Must pass DOJ/FBI background check and fit-for-duty health screen.
