Benefits Include: • Medical Insurance • 10 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays for personal celebrations • Matching Retirement Plan: After 2 years, eligible for Simple IRA plan with a 100% match on up to 3% of contributions • CEU Allowance Responsibilities: • Provide trauma-focused counseling services to clients in Branford, CT, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed techniques. • Provide clinical supervision to staff members. • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. • Engage in clinical consultations and team rounds with colleagues at the Center for NeuroPotential regularly. • Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance trauma treatment skills, such as neurofeedback. • Monitor and evaluate patient progress during neurofeedback sessions to customize treatment plans effectively. • Maintain punctuality and efficiency in all counseling-related tasks. • Demonstrate consistent reliability in fulfilling the duties of a Mental Health Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate must hold a valid psychotherapy license in Connecticut, such as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. • Previous experience in treating trauma is a mandatory requirement for this position. • Willingness to undergo training in evidence-based therapies like EMDR and somatic treatments is essential. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effective performance in this role. • Proficiency in entering clinical data into electronic health record (EHR) systems is a key requirement. • Collaborative attitude and strong commitment to treating trauma patients are indispensable qualities sought after. • Upholding ethical codes of conduct and maintaining a professional demeanor are vital expectations for the position. • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication is a necessary skill set for success in this role. Compensation: $40 - $45 hourly
