About us:
Room to Breathe is an integrated private practice therapy space and psychologically sensitive yoga studio. We affirm the mind-body connection through offering talk therapy along with gentle, inclusive somatic practices, including physical postures, meditation, and breath work. Clinicians have the opportunity to co-facilitate yoga and therapy groups alongside our psychologically-sensitive instructors. For more information on our talented yoga teachers please visit the Yoga Staff Page.
Our Values: Therapists and yoga practitioners are striving to form an integrative and collaborative culture to meet the healing needs of all individuals, couples, groups, and families. As a community, we center sustainable work/life balance, personal expression and growth, and professional development. We acknowledge that talk therapy has historically been white-centric; we actively work to decolonize therapy and practice inclusivity. We do this by taking direction from Black-led, as well as queer-centered liberation and disability justice-oriented movements in deconstructing internalized systems of oppression.
