We are seeking a compassionate, self-motivated licensed mental health therapist who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our growing private practice. You will be responsible for completing intake/diagnostic assessments, co-constructing measurable treatment plans with your clients, providing crisis intervention as needed, and engaging your clients in evidence-based treatment interventions. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of clinical experience working with mental health clients as well as a current CT license to practice (provisional or full). This is a part-time W-2 position - 15 client hours/week. Benefits include PTO and paid administrative time. Responsibilities: • Aid with crisis intervention for patients when they are in a state of distress • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Be knowledgeable of and utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions with clients to promote growth toward treatment goals • Be able to collaborate, make appropriate referrals, and interface with numerous other professions, maintaining professional boundaries and advocating for clients • Conduct interviews, make clinical observations, and analyze client's medical and mental health information, and testing to determine a client's mental health status • Provide crisis intervention services to your clients as needed Qualifications: • 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field • Hold a Connecticut license in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Worker that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing • Possess strong writing, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as interpersonal and communication skills • Training and experience in trauma-informed treatment modalities preferred Compensation: $50,000 - $72,000 yearly
