    Kin-Etic Behavioral Health (KBH) is a woman-owned mental wellness group practice and professional development training company. We are a dynamic group of behavioral health professionals and facilitators. We seek to hire (3) three experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team.     Position Summary

    The psychotherapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapeutic treatment services, and support services for a diverse caseload that includes adults, adolescents, and children. These outpatient psychotherapy services will be provided via teletherapy (online/video chat) or in person. The average caseload is 20+ clients.

    Duties

    ● Provide comprehensive individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy or marital/couples treatment.

    ● Provide clinically sound diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.

    ● Maintain confidentiality of client records.

    ● Submit clinical notes for billing purposes within 24 hours of treatment and 72 hours for assessments.

    ● Experience utilizing healthcare software electronic medical records (EMR) (TherapyNotes) and computer systems.

    ● Demonstrated effective written and oral communication with clients, including professionalism in appearance.

    ● Participate in supervision, if needed, case reviews and monthly staff meetings.

    Qualifications

    ● Must have a license in the state of Maryland and/or the District of Columbia in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.

    ● Two (2) years of diagnostic assessment experience and therapeutic treatment services.

    ● Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends (available).

    ● Strong written and oral communication skills.

    ● Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

    ● A writing sample is suggested.

    ● Designated work area/office to include high-speed internet, computer, chair, table, and door in adherence to HIPAA compliance.

    ● CAQH application and National Provider Number must be established.

    ● Professional malpractice liability insurance policy.

    This is a remote position.
