Mana began in 2008 to empower our participants with the skills and confidence to live independently. We provide support for at-risk youth aging out of juvenile corrections in making the transition to adulthood. In our program youth (18-19 years old) work on obtaining the tools and skills they will need to lead a healthy life of self-reliance and independence.
What we are looking for:
Mana is seeking caring mentors to assist our young adults in transitioning from juvenile corrections to independent living. We provide supervision, teach independent living skills, model healthy lifestyles, teach employment skills, housekeeping skills, cooking skills, appropriate social skills and so much more!
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Position requires completion of a criminal history and background check and subsequent approval from Health & Welfare
Must be CPR and First Aid certified or available to attain certification
A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle is required
Good driving record and valid Driver's License
Experience is a plus and life experience counts!
