    Summary of Responsibilities

    Take on a leadership role in guiding a diverse array of projects and managing a dynamic team. Work closely with the firm’s team to oversee drafting and design tasks, ensuring the development of plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details meets the firm's high standards. Your role will include assisting the firm’s principal with coordinating site visits, conducting surveys, and maintaining client relationships. We're seeking a dedicated supervisor with a passion for mentorship, a strong desire for continuous learning, and a proactive, resourceful approach to managing multiple tasks. The ability to effectively communicate concepts and guide a team is crucial. If you’re ready to mentor and foster a collaborative team environment, we’d love to hear from you.

    Essential Functions

    • Interpret sketches, drawings, codes, and building programs.
    • Contribute to design development through sketches, computer models, and diagrams.
    • Actively participate in job-site meetings and punch list reviews.
    • Collaborate with contractors by reviewing shop drawings 
    • Respond to RFI’s in a timely manner.
    • Research concepts, benchmarks, materials, zoning ordinances, and code requirements.
    • Quality control check others work in a positive and upbuilding manner
    • Mentor others to develop essential skills and understanding of concepts and tools
    • Learn to develop written proposals and budgeting skills

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Bachelor of Architecture
    • 5 years working in an architectural office.
    • Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD including the use of X-Refs
    • Proficiency with SketchUp
    • Proficiency with Photoshop
    • Extensive knowledge of architectural building systems
    • Able to interpret sketches, drawings, building programs and other similar material.

    Compensation 

    • $75,000+ based on experience
    • Nine (9) Paid Holidays
    • Personal Time Off (PTO)

    • IRA with employer contributions up to 15% of annual salary
