    Job Description

    **Ingram Content Group (ICG) **is hiring for a Merchandising/Ecommerce Manager to contribute to our IngramSpark team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

    In this role, you will develop and implement commercial merchandising projects that generate consumer demand and improve print and eBook sales for key publishers and titles. You will create, manage and oversee virtual product placement to grow consumer audiences, with special focus on key online commercial partners, libraries, and bookstores. You’ll engage with reader communities to improve discoverability and title presentation. In this role, you’ll support curated content calendar and commercial growth targets. In coordination with analytics and marketing, you will evaluate efficacy of curated content placement and strategy. Finally, you’ll analyze and interpret data to evaluate strategy, tests new tactics, discover new audiences, validate potential opportunities, and determine ROI.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or year for year related experience
    • 2 years’ experience in book sales, merchandising, planogram creation, and/or book eCommerce.

    Preferred Skills:

    • eCommerce experience
    • Understanding of SEO/SEM
    • Understanding of A/B testing
    • Project Management skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Creates, manages and oversees book merchandising efforts that drive product discovery, build publisher visibility and improve conversions at retail sites for key and curated publishers and titles.
    • Collaborates with consumer marketing brands and managers to support joint Ingram goals.
    • Develops placement opportunities for curated lists of content and produces high-quality, audience-oriented keywords, categories, and descriptive copy to improve discoverability and search engine optimization for books on retail websites.
    • Creates or acquires creative for advertising and social campaigns that reflect client and book branding and branding of Ingram consumer websites when appropriate, including copy and imagery.
    • Coordinates with clients, partners, and internal teams on strategy and creative execution when relevant.
    • Uses internal and external tools and systems to execute merchandising initiatives, launch and monitor book marketing campaigns, identify business opportunities, provide reporting, and evaluate relevant trends.
