Job Description

• Operate various types of application equipment, including liquid sprayers and dry fertilizer spreaders.
• Accurately apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to fields according to customer specifications and agronomic recommendations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed records of applications, including rates, products used, and field conditions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Assist in inventory management and procurement of necessary chemicals and fertilizers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000 + Benefits

Qualifications

• Clean driving record.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Applicator License (or the ability to obtain them).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work long hours during peak seasons.
• Farm background is preferable.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately apply chemicals.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards.
