    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Contracts Administrator is responsible for creating work orders and other contract documents necessary for construction of a telecommunication network.  In addition the role requires creation of associated purchase requisitions and tracking the status of each transaction as they make their way through the approval process.  Manage and maintain a database that tracks the status of each work order.  This role required superior organizational and communication skills.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Using design documents, create work orders and issue them to contractors for execution.
    • Interact with project teams regarding work order requirements
    • Assist with developing construction cost estimates
    • Create purchase requisitions in Oracle
    • Issue PO numbers to each work order
    • Insure work orders are fully executed and filed properly.
    • Maintain and manage database used to track the status of each work order.
    • Setup work orders into the Production Tracker database.
    • Assist contractors when they encountered issues using the production tracker.
    • Assist with developing and drafting processes and procedures necessary to maintain efficient operations.
    • Assist Contracts Manager with assigned duties

     

    WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

    • Associates degree in accounting preferred by not required. One to two years of experience in contract management or working with contracts. 
    • Experience working in the construction and/or engineering fields a plus.
    • Strong skills using Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
    • Multitask effectively and efficiently
    • Very strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Exceptional communication skills; strong writing skills a must
    • Effective team skills
