As a Clio Legal Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our billing operations using Clio, our legal practice management software. You will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain financial records, and provide exceptional support to our legal team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Clio. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the entire billing process using Clio and LawPay, including invoice generation, distribution, and follow-up. • Ensure accurate and timely entry of billing information into Clio. • Review and verify billing data, including time entries, expenses, and client information. • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments. • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies. • Generate and analyze billing reports to provide insights to the management team. • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing issues and improve billing processes. • Maintain and update client billing records and financial information. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Billing Specialist, preferably in a legal or professional services environment. • Proficiency in using Clio or similar legal practice management software. • Strong understanding of billing and accounting principles. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Compensation: $45,000 yearly
