    JOB SUMMARY

    The Business Development Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving revenue growth objectives by sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and generating new leads. The Business Development Representative must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Understand customer needs and requirements
    • Work closely with Account Managers on creation and standardization of small to large quotes
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
    • Coordinate with Marketing the creation and validation of potential client opportunities in certain regions
    • Partner with laboratory operations to ensure customer requests are met
    • Provide excellent Customer Experience (CX) when responding to customer inquiries
    • Assist in customer training on the online portal AXIS
    • May occasionally attend customer meetings and/or trade shows
    • Perform other duties as needed

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
    • Proven inside sales experience
    • Understanding of Laboratory testing business and services
    • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong listening and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • This job may require travel less than 20%
