Responsibilities: Please note, that this is a sales position! • Conduct client consultations to evaluate their insurance needs, financial objectives, and risk tolerance, gathering comprehensive details about their financial situation. • Recommend appropriate insurance products from New York Life’s portfolio, clearly explaining options, features, and benefits to empower clients to make well-informed decisions. • Develop and implement sales strategies, set clear objectives, and actively pursue new clients through networking, community engagement, and lead-generation activities. • Assist clients through the application process by gathering necessary information, completing documentation, and coordinating with underwriters to ensure seamless policy issuance. • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular policy reviews and ongoing support, adapting coverage as clients’ needs and circumstances change. • Comply with all regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and company policies, ensuring insurance plans meet legal standards and protect client confidentiality. • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and advanced sales techniques, improving service quality and effectiveness. • Collaborate with other New York Life professionals, including underwriters and financial advisors, to deliver comprehensive and tailored financial solutions to clients. Qualifications: Please note, that this is a sales position! • Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in life insurance, retirement planning, wealth management, and investment products. • A valid state Life & Health insurance license is required; additional certifications such as Series SIE, Series 6, or Series 7 licenses for securities are highly desirable. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for establishing client relationships and effectively explaining complex insurance concepts. • Ability to actively listen to clients, understand their financial objectives, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. • Exceptional sales skills, with a track record of prospecting, acquiring, and retaining clients through networking, referrals, and effective lead-generation strategies. • Self-driven with a strong determination to achieve personal and professional goals, capable of working independently and staying motivated. • Proficiency in assessing client needs, evaluating potential risks, and providing customized solutions. • Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, and retirement planning is an asset, although comprehensive training will be provided. • Commitment to upholding industry regulations, safeguarding client confidentiality, and maintaining ethical practices. • Preferred: Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese to better connect with a diverse clientele. Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 yearly
