    Title: Crude Oil Settlement Analyst

    Description: The role of Crude Oil Settlement Analyst will be responsible for weekly and monthly physical settlement and reconciliation of all crude oil tickets. The role will also be responsible for volume actualization, assisting in monthly close of books, dealing with internal and external counterparties, issue identification and resolution, and management of spreadsheets tracking volumes and analyzing inventory gains and losses. The settlement analyst will report to Crude Oil Settlements Lead and support the Finance and Commercial Development groups during each month’s settlement with MidCon counterparties.

    Duties:

    · Reconciliation of tickets either before or after entry into Wolfepak vs. the station logs and\or counterparty’s statements

    · Reconcile pricing differences with counterparties and work towards resolution with the assistance of crude marketers as required

    · Weekly and monthly review and reconciliation of run tickets

    · Assist with the weekly settlement with transport companies

    · Submit various regulatory reports as assigned in accordance with established deadlines

    · Ensure confirmation of sales statements for all counterparties assigned on or before the 18th of each month.

    · Distribute purchase statements to all counterparties on or before the 12th of each month.

    · Work with crude oil settlements lead and management to improve procedures and overall process documentation, record keeping and organization.

    · Assist with margin analysis as requested by management.

    · Assist with resolution of all regulatory issues as requested by the crude oil settlements lead or management.

    Requirements:

    B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting or at least 2 years of crude oil settlement experience matching the job description above.

    Alternatively, B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting with 2 – 5 years of experience. Career stability will be a factor in our review process. Please no job hoppers.

    Experience with Wolfepak or other crude oil settlement software highly desired.

    Crude oil settlement is very deadline oriented with settlement across the industry occurring on the 20th of each month. Therefore, commitment to meeting deadlines (working overtime and on occasionally weekends remotely from home) and obtaining counterparty cooperation is required.

    Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail and avoid repetitive mistakes is required.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
