The Middle School English Teacher will oversee the development and delivery of the 6th – 7th grade English curriculum and partner closely with the other middle school English teachers to develop and curate a comprehensive, effective, and cohesive Middle School English (6th - 8th grade) curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students and appreciate the opportunity to work with an age group that is experiencing lots of transitions in three short years. They will also be a strong collaborator with other teachers and community members, have a strong commitment to meeting the learning needs of each student, a teaching style that supports differentiated instruction, and an interest in building a community.
Primary Duties:
This is a full-time position , 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays), Monday - Friday, beginning August 2025.
Redwood Day offers highly competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated pay range the school reasonably expects to pay candidates for the Lower School Teacher is $70,658 to $112,758 annually, depending on factors such as experience and education.
