    Position: Middle School Math Teacher

    Primary Campus: 422 Willow Ave

    Mission:

    The Hudson School provides intellectually inquisitive students with a rigorous and relevant college-preparatory education that inspires independent thinking and intellectual risk-taking. The school fosters an eclectic and supportive environment that challenges students and faculty to develop their passions and talents through a stimulating, balanced, and creative interdisciplinary curriculum.

    Responsibilities:

    Teach 4-5 sections of Middle School Math, including advanced Middle School courses. Draw from best practices to develop a dynamic curriculum that fosters a love of learning math. Create daily lesson plans that actively engage students in a learner-focused environment. Assess student work and provide prompt, constructive feedback to support their growth. Prepare detailed reports evaluating student progress. Participate in the academic life of the school.

    Qualifications:

    A successful candidate will:

    • Believe that all students can achieve at the highest academic level
    • Recognize individual student learning needs and develop strategies to address those needs
    • Be able to meet often to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student progress
    • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching math in a classroom setting and a relevant degree

    Details:

    This full-time, in-person position begins in the 2025-26 academic year.

    This position is eligible for full benefits. Please do not apply if you cannot commute daily to Hoboken. We do not provide relocation assistance. If asked to interview, you will need to supply three professional references and hold a demo lesson.
