The Middle School Girls Track Coach position exists to guide and mentor female student-athletes who choose to participate in the track program. This is a paid position and may be combined with a teaching role at Westminster. If a teaching position is unavailable or the applicant is employed outside the education field, applicants for a community coaching role will also be considered.

Experience
- Proven experience in coaching track and field events.

- Strong ability to relate to and inspire middle school student-athletes.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, athletes, and other coaching staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Collaborate with the Athletic Department to organize and develop the track program and coaching staff.
- Plan and implement daily practices focused on developing athletic skills and teamwork.
- Manage administrative tasks required for the program’s success, including compliance with league regulations.
Faith and Character Development
- Foster the faith and Christian character of student-athletes, incorporating spiritual growth into practices and team activities.
- Encourage athletes to develop their God-given abilities and talents to their fullest potential.
- Serve as a Christ-centered role model for student-athletes.
Parent and Community Engagement
- Partner effectively with parents, fostering positive relationships that support student-athletes.
- Represent the track program and Westminster culture at school functions as communicated by the Athletic Department.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Teach athletes proper track and field techniques to ensure both safety and skill development.
- Actively champion Westminster's culture and values, including The Wildcat Way.
- Be a contributing member of the Westminster community and maintain a presence at key school events.
