As a prime contractor with a deep understanding of the local market, you'll play a crucial role in delivering successful projects, from roadways to water lines.

ONLY heavy civil construction experience will be considered for this opportunity. Position: Vice President of Operations

Location: Baltimore, MD

Compensation: $180K - 200K + uncapped bonus potential

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience

• Industry experience min. 5 years in management role, leading teams in land development and transportation projects in Construction, Utility, Infrastructure projects

• Robust experience in financial analysis, budget reporting, forecasting

• Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to join the team of many hats, poised to expand market

• In-depth understanding of industry regulations, safety standards and best practices

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and technological application for marketing, analytics, operations

Responsibilities:

• Direct management and supervision of resources and assignments, ensuring comprehensive support for both public and private sector markets

• Negotiate contracts and manage construction bids, obtain required permits/licenses as needed

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance checks

• Create effective schedules and oversee project budget

• Hire and train top talent to optimize workload

• Use appropriate computer software as a tool for solving engineering problems
