With a strong emphasis on sustainability and technology in the food and beverage industry, the company is committed to making a positive impact on society by providing healthy, delicious, and allergy-free snacks and beverages to workplaces across the San Francisco Bay Area. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GM (or President) to lead a team of 40 employees at a fast-growing food and beverage company with numerous regional customers.  

    The Position: General Manager (or President for higher-qualified individuals)

    Compensation: $140K-$180K + bonus opportunities

     Location: SF Bay Area

    Requirements:

    • More than two years of experience in tactical running operations, preferably in a food and beverage or related industry

    • Prior leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of building and managing successful teams

    • Passionate about sustainability and technology in the food and beverage industry

    • MBA is preferred but not required at all

    • Desire for continuous improvement, with a strong interest in exploring new and innovative ways to improve the company's operations

    • Veteran status preferred, with experience in relating to and leading people from diverse backgrounds

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiencies to improve results without breaking points

    • Service and hospitality driven, with a customer-centric mindset

    • Respectful and empathetic towards others, both employees and customers

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide strong leadership and management to a team of 40 employees, including mentoring, advising, and evaluating team members
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and investors handling $9M revenue

    • Ensure that the company's operations are aligned with its vision, mission, and goals, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation

    • Evaluate operational needs and equipment analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations

    • Resolve problem issues and process improvements, continuously improving the company's operational systems

    • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality products and services are delivered to customers

    • Perform financial reporting of P&L ownership of $9M, with a focus on accurate timecards, vacation policy enforcement, and salary management

    • Lead the team to achieve continuous improvement and exceed customer expectations, while maintaining a positive and respectful work culture
