Position Title: Regional Sales Representative Reports to: Regional Sales Manager Peers: All other Regional Sales Reps and San/Jan Sales Rep. Direct Reports: N/A Primary Function: It is the Sales Representative’s responsibility to generate leads and close sales, to seek and find in a systematic way potential opportunities for new accounts that will utilize all of our rental products, direct sales products and San/Jan facility service products within their assigned territory. The Sales Rep is also tasked to work and coordinate with their Regional Sales manager and Regional Manager to increase revenue in their territory by presenting new service and product to potential customers within company parameters. Primary Responsibilities: (1=Full Authority, 2=Consult with Others, 3=Don’t Do without Approval) Responsibility Matrix Ability to work efficiently and independently to manage their assigned territory 2 Responsible to meet and exceed set sales goal minimum of $50 weekly rental with actual goal being $80 to $100 in weekly rental after Regional Sales Manager recommendation. 1 Responsible to sell programs and products that meet the specification determined by Millers Textile. Special programs or product sales require consultation with the Director of Sales as well as with their Regional Manager. 3 Prepare presentations and present professionally explaining our programs and systems. Including quotes, samples products, and service agreements, etc. 2 Required to complete all documentation necessary to facilitate the startup of new accounts and to coordinate a smooth transition to the service department during the first 6 weeks of install. 1 Required to make first delivery with the service team for accounts designated by the Regional Sales Manager and to facilitate the transition to the service department 1 Required to attend training sessions and meetings that may be outside of normal working hours. 2 Required to follow direction and work as deemed appropriate for the success of the position by the Regional Sales Manager. 3 Position Requirements: • Required to take sales profile test and score appropriately when measured against peer group • Must possess a positive attitude, High level of integrity and work ethic • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills. • Excellent listening skills • Strong written communication skills • College degree in Business or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and successful sales experience. • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures. • Ability to work individually and as part of a team • Experience with CRM programs is a plus • Ability to understand written and verbal data and ability to share that information with others • Must have a valid driver’s license with excellent motor vehicle record due to travel requirements • Pass a pre-employment and random drug screen as required by Miller’s Textile Services’ policies • Completion of a background check – revealing no felony convictions involving crimes of theft, misappropriation of funds, dishonesty or violence within the last 7 years • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel object, tools or control; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear; taste or smell.
