Atlantic Staffing Consultants is assisting a local, family-owned business seeking a Temporary Millwork Finisher with Sit-Down Forklift Experience to join their team.

Temporary Position for 8-12 Weeks

Duties of the Millwork Finisher/Forklift Operator:

• Assembles material building components and millwork products.
• Make collar boxes.
• Round over column edges.
• Route profiles.
• Help with other facets of Finishing.

• Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding set-up sheets, work orders, drawings, or blueprints as well as a tape measure. 
• Gather materials and tools necessary to complete orders.
• Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
• Uses the sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Uses the sit-down forklift to move materials around the warehouse safely.

• Ensure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned, maintained and ready to operate daily.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift as needed.

• Plans and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team-related production goals.
• Understands and responds well to supervision and training from senior team members and management.
• Observe and follow all safety procedures required.

Requirements of the Millwork Finisher/Forklift Operator:

• Successfully complete the sit-down forklift certification process.

• Knowledge of and ability to use various hand and power tools to safely assemble products.
• Manual dexterity.
• Prefer candidates to have at least one year of carpentry experience.
• Candidates who have at least one year of sit-down forklift experience.
• Knows how to safely operate and maintain a sit-down forklift.
• A candidate with knowledge of CNC operations is a plus.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to be on time.

Pay, Schedule, & Benefits for the Millwork Finisher/Forklift Operator:

• Pay: $18.00+ an hour DOE
• Monday - Friday (8 hour shifts)
• 7:30 AM - 5 PM (some flexibility in start & end times)
• Work inside a climate-controlled environment.
• Temporary Position for 8-12 Weeks
• Weekly pay.
