Minnesota Millwork & Fixture is the industry leader with over 30-years of experience serving the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, and retail sectors. We manufacture commercial casework, millwork, tables, upholstered seating, and metal. We design and build custom products for restaurants, banks, clinics, and hotels.
We are currently seeking a full-time on-site Estimator. The estimator will work closely with the engineer and production teams to estimate elements of various projects. Responsible for the timely completion of bid requests, order management, and working with operations to ensure the successful completion of each project.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Utilize on-screen estimating software (ProjectPak by Tradesoft, Cut List Optimizer, and Blue Beam)
Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications, including all labor, materials, subcontractors, and buy-out items
Interact with clients, architects, and general contractors as needed to clarify project scope and specifications
Solicit quotes from outside vendors for items not directly manufactured by us
Source materials specific to project specifications as needed
Evaluate and adjust future pricing based on completed projects and current manufacturing data
Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies to ensure success in landing high-quality projects
Continue to market our company by demonstrating professionalism, proficiency, accuracy, and first-class service
Maintain high standards of estimates
Grow and maintain fixtures, library, and catalogs up to date
Education and Experience:
Prefer two (2) years of estimating experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment
Able to read architectural drawing sets & specifications to accurately and competitively priced
Good grasp of costs and their application to the estimating process
Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, and employees
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Dedicated, well organized, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Software; Especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
