Job Description

This entry-level position is responsible for controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and vendor statements on a weekly basis. This position rarely communicates with clients directly, rather almost exclusively communicates internally with the Accounts Payable (AP) team. This position reports to the AP Supervisor and has no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Processes and correctly codes all invoices and credit memos in Bill.com weekly according to client specifications

· Addresses all vendor inquiries submitted via email daily, working with specific Accounts Payable Specialists when necessary

· Reconciles vendor statements for all clients within 2 weeks of receipt

· Maintains communication with vendors on a regular basis with regards to payment methods, payment statuses, statement reconciliations, and account standings

· Creates and sends weekly General Ledger reports to AP specialists

· Enters General Ledger data into CTUIT weekly

· Responsible for gathering w-9 form for all 1099able vendors for each client

· Responsible for coordinating production of 1099s for all assigned clients

· Works on special projects as assigned by AP Supervisor, Director of Operations, or Owner

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· This is a fully remote position. You must have the discipline, maturity, and emotional intelligence to work independently in this environment

· Ability to work collaboratively with both clients and teammates

· Ability to manage projects and assignments with extreme accuracy and efficiency

· Excellent communication, organization, analytical, math and problem-solving skills

· Extensive attention to detail

· Proficient with spreadsheet, database and word processing applications and computer literate

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

· One-year in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting experience in a full cycle, multi-client or similar office environment is preferred.

· Associate Degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

· This position may occasionally require evening/weekend work resulting in overtime.

· Candidates residing in California, Oregon, Utah, Texas and Nevada will be given preference
