Job Overview:
As a Senior Associate Attorney, you'll work closely with our firm principal, managing a small caseload of high-value cases. This is your chance to shine in a role that requires a strong litigation background, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and the ability to provide strategic legal counsel. You’ll engage in both independent and collaborative work, demonstrating your strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings and legal settings
- Draft and review legal documents, including discovery, pleadings, and briefs
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
- Advise clients on complex legal matters
- Take and defend depositions
- Review and analyze medical records
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
- Develop strategies for resolving intricate legal issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience in California state and/or federal court
- Strong background in litigation/trial practice
- Personal Injury Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Experience
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking ability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- California Bar License (Required)
- Some trial experience preferred but not required
