Purpose Statement: The Missions Coordinator oversees the mission partnerships for Northland to aid in pursuing kingdom expansion; giving the congregation opportunities to connect their gifts and passions to outside mission opportunities.

Accountability: Is served and led by the Children's Director.

Responsibilities:

• Lead in the development and implementation of all mission and outreach activities and partnerships for Northland Christian Church
• Maintain current and develop new mission partnerships
• Maintain documentation of contact and needs with local and world partners
• Recruit and support Mission Trip Leaders both in country and abroad
• Maintain contact with Missions Trip Leader for the duration of the trip
• Help equip our body for mission trips, or serving our local partners. Including accompanying volunteers to help train and equip them for further serving opportunities within that local partner
• Complete necessary record keeping for each partner. i.e. background checks.
• Oversee Mission Team and/or Care Teams for our missionary partners
• Plans, oversees, and manages Missions Budget along with Children's Director and Executive Pastor
• Prepare necessary information to promote and recruit volunteers to serve with missions partners. i.e. bulletin, social media, and website.
• Prepare an evaluation of each Mission partner every 4 years. This evaluation will validate the ongoing partnership with them.

**Employment Status & Benefits: **

• Part Time hourly (approx. 15 hours/week); non-exempt.
• Two to three days per week within the regular office hours, Monday–Thursday.**
