    SERVPRO of Minnetonka is looking to add a Mitigation Estimator to our growing team. If you have a passion for helping people in their worst days, be the HERO and “Make it like it Never Happened”, We might be talking to you.

    The Mitigation Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain, bid and price mitigation projects. They will work closely with the VP of Mitigation, Client Services, Business Development and the Mitigation field team to ensure the company is properly prioritizing projects and charging appropriately for work.

    Primary Roles and Responsibilities

    Qualifying Incoming Leads

    Calling non-emergency leads to qualify potential customers as it relates to the scope of work and ability of customer to pay (determine self-pay or insurance

    Coordinate scheduling and response for leads that do not require an estimate

    Schedule an estimate for leads that require one

    Estimating/Initial Job Scoping

    Immediately follow up on incoming leads in order to qualify the lead and schedule the estimate

    Meet residential and commercial customers on-site to perform walk through and determine scope of project

    Provide customer with appropriate estimate within 24 hours of project walk through

    Follow up on sent estimates to sell job and schedule work

    Secure all necessary paperwork and deposit payments to being work

    Coordinate work with mitigation production team to produce work

    Establish customer relationship for construction services if there is a construction opportunity

    Other Responsibilities

    Serve as a first responder to losses as needed to secure the work

    Be on call 1 night a week and one weekend a month to take incoming calls

    Be available while on call to go out to commercial losses

    Producing emails, notes, documents, computer files, hard-copy files to document projects as needed

    Preferred ability to travel for Storm Work and manage storm teams

    Handle any customer service issues that arise

    Ability to handle large volumes of job files simultaneously

    Target a close rate of 75% of all estimates written

    Coordinate with customer and insurance company for approval of scope and project plan

    Coordinate smooth handoff to production once work is scheduled.

    Ensure clear two-way communication with the Production Manager

    Ensure clear two-way communication with the Operations Manager

    Ensure clear two-way communication with the Marketing Representatives

    Support overall marketing by building relationships with adjusters and other Centers of Influence as opportunities arise

    Experience Requirements

    Minimum 5 years’ experience in the restoration industry

    Demonstrated experience with Xactimate including Xactimate Level 1, 2 & 3 certifications.

    Preferred experience with DASH, Docusketch and MICA

    Effective written and oral communication

    Experience working with insurance companies

    Organized

    Critical thinking and problem solving skills

    Demonstrated experience with understanding job profitability

    Ability to Work with in a team

    Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

    This job has on call- taking phones for after hour calls to dispatch losses. Go out to any commercial loss.

    This is a full-time position, working hours varying between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week minimum. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
