Mitigation Technicians will be responsible for providing on-site services to our customers, and will work in teams alongside Senior Technicians, Supervisors, and Management. Mitigation Technicians will be in frontline contact with customers during projects and must represent the company in a positive manner that builds customers’ confidence and trust in our work. Primary tasks include: (1) evaluating and recording damages to a building caused by water, fire, mold, storm, etc.; (2) cleaning and restoring damaged structures, using our professional and specialized equipment and techniques; (3) directly communicating with customers and coordinating with the Paul Davis team to provide extraordinary customer care; and (4) embodying our office’s core values of honesty, integrity, and safety. Mitigation Technicians may also from time to time be asked to support other aspects of our office's operations and growth strategy.

Reports To: Mitigation Manager
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • High character with uncompromising commitment to honesty and integrity. • Hardworking attitude, and adaptability to work hours that sometimes can be long or irregular (including on weekends). • Ability to operate in hazardous environments with care and safety. • Strong attention to details. • Genuine desire to help other people. • Demonstrated record of responsibility, teamwork, and respect for people and properties. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: • 2-4 years of post-high-school education/training, or an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces. • Construction, renovation, or handyman experience and knowledge. •Technical proficiency with smart phones and tablets, and ability to learn new software and tools. • Strong communication skills (both oral and written). • Desire to learn new things and growth within the company. • Ability to manage other people and projects. • If limited experience but you meet all Position Requirements, it's okay; we will invest in your training!
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: • Highly competitive hourly wage (varies based on experience level and personal growth), with significant opportunity for overtime pay each week. • All employees paid weekly! • Eligible for full benefits after 90 days of employment, including health and disability insurance, earned vacation days and sick days, 401(k) with company matching, monthly cellphone allowance, and additional annual performance-based bonuses. • Significant cross-training and career growth opportunities!
NOTE: If you have relevant previous experience and IICRC certifications, you may be eligible to start immediately as a Senior Mitigation Technician (and earn even higher pay).
