You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. Benefits • Employee Rate at IHG Hotels • Free On-Site Parking • Free Employee Meals • Employee Referral Program Responsibilities: • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations • Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management. • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks Qualifications: • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Experience with mixology and building new recipes and techniques • TN ABC License Required Compensation: $10 - $15 hourly
