    Job Description

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
    • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality apps.
    • Optimize apps for performance, usability, and security.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues and bugs.
    • Stay informed about the latest mobile development technologies and trends.
    • Participate in code reviews and uplift to coding standards.
    • Ensure apps meet App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.

    Key Competencies

    • Experience with iOS and Android native app development and deployment
    • Proficiency with Swift and Objective C languages
    • Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, particularly as it pertains to mobile applications
    • Skill in integrating APIs and web services into mobile applications
    • Experience with implementing push notifications and in-app messaging
    • Understanding of mobile app security best practices and data protection
    • Familiarity with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization
    • Knowledge of app publishing processes on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
    • Experience with cross-platform development frameworks is a plus
    • Solid understanding of dynamic web and application architectures, including the Model, View, Controller design principle
    • Proficiency in database design principles as well as SQL skills
    • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
    • Familiarity with network and server administration is a plus
    • Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills

    • 4+ years of prior software development experience
