Job description Overview As a mechanic/detail technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that need to be completed. The role of a mechanic is crucial, as they are responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and without issues. This position is essential for maintaining power washing machines and addressing any issues that arise. Having experience with small engines is especially crucial for this job.

The Detail Technician role is essential to ensuring the success of our operations and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality cleaning and detailing services for a variety of surfaces, equipment, and settings, ensuring a clean and professional environment wherever our services are needed.

This position requires a strong work ethic, a passion for cleanliness, and the ability to drive to different sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair motorized power equipment.

• Diagnoses and repairs issues or malfunctions across a diverse range of equipment.

• Performs routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the continued functionality of essential tools and equipment.

• Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces.

• Drive to client locations in a safe and timely manner.

• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.

• Conduct car wash services as part of the detailing process.

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Candidates with prior experience in small engines, mobile detailing or custodial work are preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must have reliable transportation to work.

• Familiarity with detailing products and techniques is a plus, including buffing experience.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require bending, lifting, or standing for extended period.
