Job Summary
Lamination Gun Operator is responsible for production, paperwork, and cleanliness of his/her area. He/She will collaborate with lamination supervisor on scheduled gel coat sprayings and customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with lamination manager what is completed each day and goals for the next day.
- Sprays all production molds for his/her area and assist with rolling as required.
- Cleans chopper gun after use.
- Maintains the resin/hardener settings as required.
- Move production parts as required.
- Maintains production tracking sheets on a daily basis.
Experience/Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 1+ years experience in boat/car paint spraying or gelcoat spraying
- Manufacturing experience
Physical Demands
- Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Employee must be able to stand during entire shift.
Work Environment
- Must be able to tolerate change in temperatures, all seasons
- Must be able to tolerate various noise levels and exposure to boat plant materials, chemicals
