    We are searching for an educator and attorney for our Head of Legal Learning and Development position. This is an opportunity to step into a growing company and help us design, build, and implement a legal skills and development program. The selected candidate will be crucial in organizing and implementing our onboarding program and ensuring that attorneys and legal support staff can develop and continuously improve their legal knowledge and professional skillset.     We currently operate out of multiple offices in the greater Denver metro area, Texas, and the San Francisco Bay area. This position will report out of any of our offices but may be largely remote.

    The Head of Legal Learning and Development will partner with SMEs to design and create educational resources on rules of civil procedure, rules of evidence and general domestic relations case management. These resources will be for the purpose of onboarding, developing, and supporting our legal team. The Head of Legal Learning and Development will design and implement ongoing curriculum and mentorship programs for the legal team and monitor participation and progress of these programs. They will exercise business acumen to identify upcoming business needs and promote the success of the legal team and the firm.

    If this sounds good to you, here’s what we will need:

    • EDUCATED: Juris Doctor required; bar admission not required but a plus.
    • EXPERIENCED: 3 - 5 years of experience as a L&D practitioner in areas including software, systems, processes, and salesmanship required. Experience teaching law students, paralegals, or lawyers a plus. Experience with Salesforce, LMS platforms or in a high-growth company a plus. Superior knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Online services, Adobe and Macintosh and Windows Platforms preferred.
    • MOTIVATED: A self-starter who can make recommendations and take initiative on projects. The ability use sound judgement to solve problems and maintain confidential information. Enjoy working as part of a team in a remote environment. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills: the innate ability to understand the most effective communication in any situation.
    • TECH SAVVY: be comfortable using and training others on various software programs. Experience with MS Office Suite, MS Online Services, Adobe, Macintosh, and Windows platforms preferred. Salesforce, Zoom and Slack experience a plus.
    • AGILE: we have a tech-start up culture. Be able to change directions when needed.
