  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Mold Shop Maintainer performs machine tool work, welding, brazing or bench work required in making repairs and alterations to molds, blanks, bottom plates or finish equipment.

    The Mold Shop Maintainer will:

    • Repair parts including sanding, welding, grinding, cutting and polishing as needed.
    • Use multiple air tools, hand tools, spray welders, CNC, lathes and torches
    • Inspect and measure parts after work is completed
    • Deliver job change mold equipment and assist with job changes

    The Mold Shop Maintainer should have:

    • Welding experience
    • Experience reading blueprints
    • CNC programming skills
    • Experience using specialized measuring devices such as: micrometers, depth micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • HS Diploma or equivalent
    • 2 year technical degree in tool and die making, machine technology or the like OR completion of NY State Certified Apprenticeship program in a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a tool and die shop
    • Must be able to work a 12 hour shift
    • Must have experience and basic knowledge of computers and be able to learn programs necessary to carry out job functions.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
