    We are looking for a Mold Tool Assembler and Repair Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role is vital in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes by assembling, maintaining, and repairing molds used across various industries.

    The Mold Tool Assembler and Repair Technician will be responsible for precisely assembling mold components, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs to maintain optimal production quality. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

     

    In this role, you will:

    ? Interpret and understand detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble mold tools.

    ? Assemble mold components by following precise instructions, ensuring all parts fit together seamlessly.

    ? Utilize various hand tools and machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape and assemble parts.

    ? Perform quality control inspections to ensure that assembled molds meet specified dimensions and quality standards.

    ? Conduct routine maintenance on molds, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to prevent wear and tear.

    ? Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with molds, identifying defects or malfunctions that could affect production quality.

    ? Repair damaged molds by welding, machining, or replacing defective components, restoring molds to their original specifications.

    ? Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including the nature of repairs and parts used.

    ? Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure molds meet production needs.

    ? Provide regular updates on the status of mold assembly and repairs to supervisors and relevant team members.

     

    Minimum Skills/Mandatory Skills/Experience Needed for Hire:

    You might be a good fit if you have:

    ? 2+ years of experience in mold assembly, maintenance, or a related field.

    ? High school diploma or GED required; a technical certificate or associate degree in a related field is preferred.

    ? Proficiency with machining tools and techniques, such as milling, turning, and grinding.

    ? Ability to perform welding techniques used in mold repair, including MIG, TIG, and laser welding.

    ? Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.

    ? Capability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.

    ? Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in assembly and repair tasks.

    ? Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

    ? Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on project status.

    ? Effective time management to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

     

    Educational Requirement:

    High school diploma or GED required;
