Injection Molding Process Engineer – Manufacturing & Electronics Industry

We are looking for a talented Injection Molding Process Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve our injection molding processes in a state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities: - Process Development: Design and implement robust injection molding processes to produce high-quality products.
- Machinery Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Arburg and Cincinnati machines, and leverage your expertise to optimize performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
- Data & Documentation: Create and manage mold programs databases for glass-filled and mineral-filled thermoplastics, and maintain detailed process documentation and SOPs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the mold design engineering team to tailor mold designs to machinery, and partner with cross-functional teams to align product design and manufacturing processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance production efficiency, troubleshoot process issues, and reduce waste.
- Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor production personnel on best practices in injection molding.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing injection molding processes.
- Expert-level proficiency with injection molding equipment, specifically Arburg and Cincinnati machines (familiarity with Screwburg Machines is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of SolidWorks preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
