Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Proficient laboratory skills include micropipettes, multichannel pipettes, performing dilutions, microarrays, next-gen sequencing, and appropriate safety measures when handling samples and reagents.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and proficiency in computer skills.
- Current knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards including CAP, CLIA, FDA, OSHA.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred but not mandatory for highly qualified candidates.
- ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with molecular, molecular microbiology, and/or genetics in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Experience with Thermo KingFisher and QuantStudio, Hamilton MicroLab STAR, Illumina MiSeq and iSCAN, Agilent Bravo, Tecan Freedom EVO.
Additional Information
Position is full-time Sunday -Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday, 1st shift and 2nd shift, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Louisville, KY are encouraged to apply.
