** Starting wage for this position is $14.35 per hour plus gratuity but final wage will be based on experience**

How do I make an impact on my team? The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott provides refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our friendly and attentive Morning Barista Server will help to brighten the day for our hotel guests in this fast-paced Bistro Café environment.

Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude

Complete opening and closing duties (setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas)

Take guests’ orders and obtaining payment and providing correct change

Communicate meal requirements, in regards to allergies, dietary needs, and special requests, to the kitchen

Prepare and serve beverages (coffee drinks, cocktails, wine, and beer) in addition to serving food to our guests

Prepare ingredients for cooking and cooking the food according to recipes

Setting up meeting room for conferences and servicing the meeting room

What does success look like in this role?

Ability to work during the morning hours of 5:30 am until 12:00 pm and/or 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm

Six months of previous restaurant, serving or food handling experience

Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation

Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Reliability and honesty

Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
