Job Description
The Mortgage Advisor Manager will be responsible for the development, performance, and day-to-day supervision of the Lendage Mortgage Advisor sales agents ensuring the team is meeting sales goals, regulatory requirements, and other efficiency targets in line with company vision and values.
The Mortgage Advisor Manager collaborates with the Director of Sales to establish plans to improve sales, operational efficiencies, and productivity of the individual Mortgage Advisors while directing improvement initiatives. The Manager contributes to individual and process development for Mortgage Advisors including training, coaching, and performance feedback.
How You’ll Contribute:
Coaches, inspires and motivates holding individual Mortgage Advisors on their team accountable for individual KPI’s, goals and standards
Develops and maintains internal customer relationships with enabling/supporting partners.
Maintains accurate records of sales and activity reports for each Mortgage Advisor on their team
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Ensures sales team meets or exceeds all activity standards for: prospecting cadences and discovery calls, application call standards, application submissions according to underwriting guidelines while adhering to minimum standards and quality thresholds.
Delegates appropriately with responsibility, accountability, and follow-up.
Sets the professional standard for the Lendage sales team in areas of integrity, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
Hold an active NMLS and state mortgage licenses as required
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
Strong understanding of the mortgage sales process
5+ years or more of mortgage sales experience
5+ years consultative sales experience in a call center environment
2+ years of actively leading a mortgage team in a call center environment
Active NMLS registration
Eligible to complete state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including but not limited to required pre-license education, state and federal testing, and federal background checks to obtain an appropriate license to conduct business in all states deemed necessary by the company.
Client-focused approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrable ability to coach sales agents to success
Ability to analyze and understand underwriting guidelines and lender requirements, across a variety of loan products and programs.
