Responsibilities: • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Manage warm transfers and fresh leads, averaging 8 to 10 daily, to effectively drive business growth • Handle the application process, pitch to qualified borrowers, and guide them through loan options • After loan sales, the focus shifts to selling to the next borrower as processing staff takes over file management • Provide counseling to borrowers, educating them on the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products to guide their choices • Oversee customer interactions and ensure smooth transactions by liaising with realtors, processors, and underwriters • Maintain a substantial pipeline of loans to meet production requirements effectively • Collaborate closely with industry professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and other related industry professionals • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them Qualifications: • Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required • Strong understanding of HELOC/HELOAN guidelines and structuring • Current NMLS license • Strong time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and handling multiple leads simultaneously • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations • Comprehensive knowledge of various loan products, eligibility criteria, and industry trends • Adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs • Commitment to ethical conduct and integrity • Proficiency in loan origination software and other technological tools Compensation: $300,000 Yearly
