The successful applicant will have 5 years of experience with mortgage lending or origination and a proven track record of making matches between various lenders and borrowers. Responsibilities: • Obtain documentation to determine creditworthiness, such as background checks, applicant’s credit history, income and employment verification, and verification of assets and liabilities • Conduct a thorough interview to determine each applicant/ potential borrower’s specific lending or refinance needs • Build referral relationships with real estate professionals and relationships with mortgage lenders/ mortgage bankers, maintain current lending rate sheets, and stay up to date on current mortgage industry trends • Complete loan application and submit on behalf of the borrowing applicant • Counsel applicants and home buyers on various loan products, buying or refinance process, prospective lenders, and lending guidelines Qualifications: • Up to date NMLS licensure or National Association of Mortgage Broker license or certification is required • Independently resourceful mindset with excellent communications, analysis, and time-management skills • Comfortable with loan origination software and MS office • Possess a strong understanding of mortgage products and loan process from origination to close • Requires 5 years of mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience Compensation: $75,000
