Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
We're searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. In this role, you'll be a key player in driving the success of our loan operations. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for referral partners, real estate agents, current and past clients, lenders, and underwriters—nurturing strong relationships and helping to grow new business opportunities. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. If you’re excited to be part of a team that empowers employees, clients, and partners to achieve their goals Responsibilities: • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items • Review loan applications to determine if they meet minimum standards • Collect the required information from the borrower • Verify documents provided by the borrower • Prepare loan summary • Assist and coordinate internal parties involved in the loan application process Qualifications: • Comprehension of basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team • Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment • Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred • AA degree or Bachelor's degree required • Proficiency in MS Office required • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed Compensation: $52,000 - $57,000 yearly + bonus
