    Position: Outside Loan Originator (Outside LO)

    As an Outside LO, you will play a pivotal role in originating real estate mortgage loans across New York and surrounding markets while maintaining your NMLS license as required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate Mortgage Leads: Build strong relationships with real estate agents and referral partners.
    • Analyze Loan Markets: Develop referral networks to locate loan prospects.
    • Client-Focused Consultations: Meet with applicants to assess financial status, answer questions, and guide them through loan options and the application process.
    • End-to-End Loan Management: Prepare complete loan applications with all required documentation and work closely with processing and underwriting teams to resolve issues.
    • Community Engagement: Participate in lead-generating activities such as attending closings, open houses, seminars, and training sessions.
    • Customer Service Excellence: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain communication with referral sources and real estate partners.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • NMLS License: Required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
    • Mortgage Expertise: Thorough knowledge of mortgage products, programs, underwriting policies, and procedures.
    • Sales Drive: Experience proactively soliciting new business.
    • Strong Analytical Skills: To evaluate credit requests and market trends.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect with diverse communities and stakeholders.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Encompass experience preferred.
