    Position: Outside Loan Originator
    Location: New York city & Surrounding Markets

    As an Outside Loan Originator, you’ll play a key role in developing new business, serving homebuyers, and growing your network. You’ll leverage a robust product portfolio, cutting-edge technology, and dedicated operational support—all within a high-performance, relationship-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactively build relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners

    • Meet with applicants to assess financial needs, present loan options, and guide them through the mortgage process

    • Prepare and submit complete loan applications with required documentation

    • Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth, timely closings

    • Represent the company through community engagement, open houses, seminars, and networking events

    • Maintain exceptional communication with clients, referral sources, and internal teams

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Active NMLS License, as required under the S.A.F.E. Act

    • Extensive Mortgage Knowledge – Familiarity with a wide range of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations

    • Sales-Oriented Mindset – Experience in generating self-sourced business and building referral networks

    • Strong Analytical & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to assess financial data and effectively communicate with diverse audiences

    • Technical Proficiency – Comfort with Microsoft Office; Encompass experience is a plus
