Responsibilities: Business Development: • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with potential referral partners, including realtors, builders, bankers, and other community members. Loan Process Oversight: • Manage an active pipeline of loans, ensuring that all necessary documents are accurately and promptly prepared by borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and other professionals. • Collaborate with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a seamless transaction from start to finish. Borrower Education & Counseling: • Advise borrowers on the various loan options available, helping them understand the pros and cons of each to determine the best fit for their financial needs. • Guide borrowers throughout the loan application process and ensure they are well-informed about their choices. Lead Management & Sales: • Handle and convert incoming leads, including an average of 8-10 new referrals per day, to fuel business growth. • Pitch loan products to qualified borrowers and help them navigate the application and decision-making process. Post-Closing Focus: • After a loan is sold, focus on acquiring new business while the processing team takes over file management. Compliance & Documentation: • Ensure that all aspects of the loan process are compliant with company policies and regulatory guidelines. • Work closely with all involved parties to gather and prepare necessary documents, ensuring underwriting standards are met. Skills & Competencies: • Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with referral partners, including realtors, builders, and community professionals. • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex loan products and guide borrowers through their options. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a high-volume loan pipeline while ensuring compliance. • In-depth knowledge of loan products and the ability to advise borrowers on the best fit for their financial goals. • Strong multitasking abilities to manage various tasks and meet production targets.
