We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities: • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements Qualifications: • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required • Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License • Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies ESSENTIAL SKILLS • At least three (2) years of experience in mortgage lending • At least two (2) years of experience as a production loan partner preferred • Knowledge of mortgage loan products and types of loans. • Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Outstanding work ethic and time management skills. • Perform exceptionally well under pressure. • Possess strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to manage workflow PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • A bachelor's or associate degree or certification in finance, mathematics, accounting, or • another equivalent field of study. • Previous experience with Encompass, a plus • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus • At least one year in the business.
