    This is an in-office position. We are currently seeking a positive and upbeat Loan Processing Assistant (or what we call a Set-Up Specialist) for our growing mortgage brokerage. Possessing high attention to detail is key for this role. The ideal candidate is trainable, has the ability to own their own role, works independently, communicates proactively, and has excellent problem-solving skills. We are currently only accepting applicants located within 30 miles of Eagle, ID, US. All other applicants will not be considered. Responsibilities: • Review new files when received and order all appropriate documents, including title work, appraisal, vesting payoffs, and hazard insurance • Follow up on these documents to ensure timely delivery and accuracy • Collect and organize necessary documents from borrowers for the underwriting process • Work closely with mortgage processors to help each file get to closing as soon as possible • Provide quality customer service by answering questions from external and internal customers in a timely and professional manner Qualifications: • Has the ability to work in-office, at our Eagle, ID location • Excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication • Project a professional image and collaborate with others to accomplish goals and demand deadlines • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products • Previous experience in mortgage processing, real estate, or escrow is a plus but not required Compensation: $18 - $21 hourly
