Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Analyst/Processor to join our West Hartford, CT office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pre-approving clients and a comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA, ensuring smooth and successful loan processing. This is an in-office position - we are not seeking remote applicants at this time. We are located in beautiful Downtown West Hartford. Responsibilities: • Analyze client financials and pre-approve loan applications to support the loan officer, ensuring they align with suitable loan programs. • Set up file and structure the loan • Ensure pricing is correct • Perform detailed reviews of financial documents, applying an in-depth understanding of loan guidelines. • Ensure a smooth process and transaction by communicating effectively with the loan officer, clients, and lending partners. • Manage and monitor loan files meticulously to ensure compliance and timely processing. • Stay updated on industry changes, lender policies, and new loan products to offer the best solutions possible. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of RESIDENTIAL mortgage loan processing experience, preferably within a brokerage setting. • Proven expertise in pre-approving clients and matching them with suitable loan products. • Comprehensive understanding of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA underwriting guidelines. • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in mortgage processing software and related tools. Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually
